Specifically, the fire raged in the Shuliavka area of the capital. The flames, in particular, engulfed small architectural forms (MAFs).
It is also reported that the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio was attacked. As a result of the fire, the costume department, which housed the country's largest costume collection—approximately one hundred thousand costumes and three million items of clothing—was destroyed. Other buildings of the studio were also damaged; rescuers are working on the scene.
