Cherkasy region begins to flood: water cut off 12 households and 13 houses from the land

In Cherkasy region, in the village of Khreshchatyk, one of the streets was flooded, 12 households and 13 houses are cut off from the land by water, UNN reports with reference to the State Emergency Service.

According to rescuers, about 15 residents remain at the site.

In addition, SES employees and representatives of local authorities made rounds to deliver drinking water and food to residents.

Monitoring of the situation in the areas of possible flooding in Cherkasy and Zolotonosha districts continues, the SES added.
