The chairman of the NATO Military Committee said that the Russian army has become larger but has lost quality compared to 2022.

Russia's ground forces are now larger than they were during Moscow's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, but their quality has declined since then, Admiral Rob Bauer, chairman of NATO's Military Committee, said on Monday. This was reported by UNN with reference to Reuters

"The quality of this force has declined," said Admiral Rob Bauer, pointing to the state of equipment and the level of training of Russian soldiers.

"Right now, the Russians do not pose the same threat as in February 2022, so we have some time to prepare," he said, adding that this means increasing investment in the defense industry.
