Since the beginning of 2024, 6,400 entrepreneurs have received loans worth UAH 25.3 billion under the government's Affordable Loans program. Approximately 20% of these loans were used to finance investment projects. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, UNN writes.

Last week, businesses received 606 loans worth UAH 2.5 billion through the Affordable Loans program. Since the start of the program in February 2020, 85.4 thousand loans worth UAH 292.2 billion have been granted, the Ministry said.
Since the beginning of 2024, entrepreneurs have reportedly made the most use of available loans to replenish working capital, amounting to UAH 10.1 billion. In addition, loans worth UAH 5.2 billion were issued to businesses operating in the high-risk military zone, UAH 4.3 billion to processing enterprises under the program, and UAH 4.6 billion for investment projects.
The program is most often used by companies operating in the industry:
- agriculture (48%);
- wholesale and retail trade (25%);
- processing industry (17%).
The leaders among the regions in terms of the amount of loan agreements were: Lviv, Dnipropetrovs'k, Odesa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava regions and the city of Kyiv.
Forty-five banks participate in the program, with Privatbank (38.9 thousand), Oschadbank (13.2 thousand), and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (5.4 thousand) issuing the largest number of loans since the program's inception.
