As of this morning, there are 1,150 trucks in queues at five checkpoints in Poland heading to Ukraine amid the blockade of Polish farmers, most of them opposite the Yagodyn checkpoint. This was reported to UNN by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko.
"Polish farmers continue to block truck traffic, allowing several trucks per hour in both directions, or even restricting traffic on certain routes where they are located," Demchenko said.
According to him, as of today, blocking is being carried out at five checkpoints.
"At present, Polish protesters have not allowed trucks to move towards Poland at all, in the direction of the Shehyni, Yahodyn and Ustyluh checkpoints. Also, Polish farmers let a very small number of cars traveling from Poland to Ukraine through Yagodyn and Shehyni - 100 and 20 respectively over the past day. As of this morning, a total of 1150 trucks are queuing in these 5 directions in Poland, most of them in front of the Yagodyn checkpoint," said Demchenko.
Demchenko noted that as previously reported, on the night of March 8-9, Polish farmers stopped blocking the Korchova-Krakivets checkpoint, but he noted that this is likely to be temporary, as according to the available information from the Polish side, Polish farmers-protesters plan to resume the blockade on March 13.

"Polish farmers also completely restricted the passage of trucks from Ukraine in the direction of the Uhryniv checkpoint. However, according to information from the Polish side, they decided to allow 2 trucks per hour to enter the territory of Poland from 13 to 21 hours. Cars and buses cross the border freely everywhere, there are no restrictions on this category of transport on the other side of the border," said Demchenko.
