In the first week of this year's university admission campaign, applicants have already created over a quarter of a million electronic accounts, and the pace is ahead of last year's, the Ministry of Education and Science reported on Tuesday, writes UNN.
The active phase of the admission campaign is ongoing in Ukraine. Registration of electronic accounts for most applicants began on July 1. In just the first week, applicants registered 245,938 electronic accounts
Of these, 234,879 are for admission to institutions of professional pre-higher and higher education, and another 11,059 are for institutions of vocational education.
"The registration pace this year is ahead of last year's," the Ministry of Education and Science stated.
As of the same period in 2025, it is noted, 185,834 accounts were created for admission to institutions of professional pre-higher and higher education, and 8,718 for institutions of vocational education.
The most electronic accounts were registered by applicants:
- based on complete general secondary education — 134,353;
- based on basic secondary education — 67,872;
- based on educational qualification levels and previous education — 32,654.
The current figures are interim, as the admission campaign continues and the number of registered accounts increases daily.
