A quarter of the 244 battles on the front over the past day occurred in the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning update on July 14, showing a map of hostilities, UNN writes.
In total, 244 combat engagements were recorded over the past day
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike, using one missile, carried out 77 airstrikes, dropping 249 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 8,673 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,903 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops, including 41 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck ten areas of concentration of enemy personnel and two artillery systems.
Situation by directions
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, one combat engagement with the enemy occurred over the past day; the occupiers carried out four airstrikes, dropping 11 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 56 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 15 times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Fyholivka, Starytsia, Lyman, and towards Izbystske, Zarubynka, Hoptivka, Vilcha, and Okhrimivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, today the enemy conducted three assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces towards the settlements of Podoly and Holubivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to penetrate our defense six times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, and towards the settlements of Cherneshchyna, Lyman, Ozerne.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy stormed 25 times towards the settlements of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Pyskunivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out three attacks in the area of Nykyforivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy conducted 20 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 37 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Toretske, Rusyn Yar, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filia, Novooleksandrivka, and towards the settlements of Vilne, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne, Serhiivka, Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked four times towards Kalynivske and in the area of Zlahoda.
In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers conducted 16 attacks towards the settlements of Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Charivne, and Huliaipilske.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders five times in the areas of Stepove and Plavni.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected. Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy the enemy, providing effective resistance on all sections of the front.
