According to preliminary data, on the morning of June 5, a traffic accident involving a Volkswagen LT vehicle occurred on the R-58 'Merefa — Zlatopil — Lozova' highway.
The driver of the vehicle lost control and veered onto the shoulder, after which the vehicle overturned into a ditch.
There were 14 children in the cabin — students of the 5th and 9th grades of one of the lyceums, as well as two teachers who were accompanying the group during an excursion. As a result of the accident, three children and two adults were injured,
The victims, with bodily injuries of varying degrees of severity, have been hospitalized in medical facilities.
A pretrial investigation has been initiated into the fact of the road transport accident in which minors were injured. The pretrial investigation is being carried out under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. All circumstances of the incident are being established.
