Russian citizen Dmitry Shletgauer died in a colony in Mohyla. This is reported by the Russian human rights project "Vyasna", UNN reports.
According to human rights activists, Schletgauer died on October 11; the cause of his death is unknown. Before his death, the young man spent less than a month in the colony.
Schlethauer was sentenced to 12 years on charges of espionage and promoting extremism. Details of his case are unknown; the trial was held behind closed doors. "Vyasna calls the young man a political prisoner.

Schlethauer was born in Slavgorod, Russia, in 2002. As reported by Mediaphone-Belarus, he had a Belarusian residence permit since 2018, and worked in Kamianka at a plant for the production of polymer products and packaging. During the trial, Vyasna reports that the young man gave birth to a child.
