The 72nd Brigade has already received more than five hundred FPV drones from the Kyiv region. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko, UNN writes.
On Christmas Eve, we visited our heroes from the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Cossacks. We handed over to the 72nd Brigade more than five hundred "birds" that work effectively against enemy targets. 500 FPV drones were purchased at the expense of the region. Another 50 were donated by the community of Bila Tserkva
He said that the Kyiv UIA is currently working on purchasing a second batch of FPV drones - another 500 units.
In addition, the head of KOVA added, two MAN trucks were also handed over to the military.
Ruslan Kravchenko thanked Yaroslav Dobriansky, acting head of the Kyiv Regional Council, and Ihor Sapozhko, mayors of Bila Tserkva and Brovary, who are actively collecting and delivering necessary equipment and machinery to the 72nd Brigade.
"Such meetings with the military are inspiring. They give us a new incentive to look for even more opportunities to help our defenders. I am grateful to the Ukrainian military for their protection!" said the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
