President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Rumen Radev at the NATO summit in the Turkish capital Ankara. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries, reports UNN citing Zelenskyy's post on Telegram.

Our countries need strong relations, and today we discussed this. In particular, energy issues: we can achieve a lot together, especially regarding LNG. Europe's dependence on Russian energy resources is decreasing, and it is important that partners have alternatives. Rumen spoke about his diplomatic contacts and what Bulgaria is doing for security in the Black Sea. We agreed that the teams will stay in touch

The President also invited the Bulgarian Prime Minister to Ukraine.
