President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an increase in funding for combat battalions starting in July, as he wrote on social media following a report by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa on Tuesday, reports UNN.
Report by Pavlo Palisa on the results of communication with commanders of combat brigades. First: the direct funding program for units is working well. We will scale up this program. Starting next month, the amount of funding per battalion performing combat missions will increase
Since last year, when such funding began, according to him, it has already allowed brigades to accelerate the procurement of drones and other necessary equipment. "Now there will be more funds for each combat battalion, and additional separate funding will be launched for artillery units operating in the combat zone, as well as for corps-level units performing combat missions. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff has already made a decision on this, and in July our units will receive additional resources," the President emphasized.
"Second: the program of guaranteed monthly distribution of personnel for combat brigades is also proving its effectiveness. The program has been in effect since December 2025 and has now reached a stable reinforcement of brigades. This means more predictability for commanders in management and significantly more opportunities for units to independently organize personnel training," the Head of State continued.
According to him, "third: Pavlo Palisa also reported on communication with partners regarding separate agreements on strengthening air defense." "There are things we can do additionally in cooperation between the United States and European countries. It is important that Ukrainian diplomats one hundred percent ensure the necessary communication between the military of the respective states. Missiles and air defense systems for Ukraine are the top priority of international work. Thank you to everyone who helps!" Zelenskyy stated.
