President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has conferred special ranks of major general of the Civil Defense Service on the heads of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. UNN reports this with reference to the press service of the State Emergency Service. 

Details

Presidential Decrees No. 592/2024 and No. 593/2024 of August 24, 2024, awarded the special rank of Major General of the Civil Protection Service:

  • Colonel Andriy Danik, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine;
  • Civil Defense Colonel Vitaliy Myroniuk, First Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
