The construction of the subway to Vynohradar is underway in the capital. The completion of work on the Mostytska station in its main structures is expected in 2026. This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, who also showed photos of the construction, UNN reports.

According to Klitschko, the contractor is working simultaneously on 6 construction sites — around the clock, observing the curfew.
The right tunnel from Mostytska to Syrets has already been built, as well as part of the ventilation units, and utilities have been relocated. In total, the length of the first stage of the subway to Vynohradar is 3.7 km. The work is taking place in difficult hydrogeological conditions and the presence of a branched network of communications at different depths, in dense urban development.
According to him, two-tier monolithic tunnels are being built between the Mostytska and Varshavska stations. Two-level tunnels are a unique technology for Ukraine. And about a third of these structures have already been installed.

The completion of work on the Mostytska station in its main structures is expected in 2026. The subway to Vynohradar will improve transport services for residents of the Podilskyi district and the city as a whole.
