Demand for electric vehicles in Ukraine decreased, with 3,742 battery-powered vehicles (BEV) registered in November, which is 13% less than in this period last year. The vast majority of registered cars are passenger models, of which only 18% are new.

In November, the Ukrainian fleet was replenished with 3,742 electric vehicles powered by battery power sources (BEV), Ukravtoprom reports. Compared to November last year, demand for electric vehicles decreased by 13%.
The share of new cars among registered BEVs was 18%, which is slightly less than 19% in the same period last year. The main part of registered electric vehicles was passenger cars – 3,597 units, of which 669 are new and 2,928 are used.
Among the 145 registered commercial electric vehicles, only 18 were new.
The top five most popular new electric vehicles in November included:
- HONDA M-NV-99 od.;
- BYD Song Plus-86 units.;
- ZEEKR 001-73 units.;
- VOLKSWAGEN iD.4-71 od.;
- AUDI Q4 e-tron-35 od.
Among the first registered used electric vehicles in Ukraine, the leaders are:
1. NISSAN Leaf – 384 units.;
2. TESLA Model 3 – 301 units.;
3. TESLA Model Y - 298 units.;
4. HYUNDAI Kona Electric - 194 units.;
5. KIA Niro EV-156 od.
Since the beginning of the year, almost 48 thousand vehicles powered by battery power sources have been registered in Ukraine for the first time, including 20% new and 80% used.
