"Looking ahead to the New Year, we can see that on December 31, a slight decrease in air temperature is expected, and there is a possibility of precipitation in the north of Ukraine, including Kyiv, and in the northeast, at least in the form of wet snow," Didenko wrote.
And the final weekend of 2024, she said, will be calm, without weather extremes. Significant precipitation is not expected, except that cloudy foggy weather will organize drizzle in some places.
"Since the synoptic situation over Ukraine on December 28-29 will be determined by an anticyclone, there will be no wind of any kind, only a slight, moderate wind at most. The air temperature has remained stuck to zero and small "pluses" and is still holding. On Saturday and Sunday, 0...+4 degrees are expected in Ukraine, except for the night of December 28 in the eastern part, and December 29 in the west, 0-3 degrees below zero," the forecaster said.
In Kyiv, the final weekend of the year, according to her, will be warm, cloudy and low windy. The temperature is expected to be around zero at night and 0+2 degrees during the day.
