The poverty rate has increased in Ukraine, and the war has thrown us back 16 years in addressing this issue. This was stated by Galyna Tretiakova, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Veterans' Rights, on the sidelines of the High Level Conference on the European Social Charter in Vilnius, UNN correspondent reports.
"We have a catastrophic ratio of people who are considered poor. In fact, the war has thrown us back 16 years in terms of overcoming the problem of poverty," says Tretyakova.
