In recent days, some media and telegram channels have begun to publish news with clickbait headlines about the possible return of shutdowns. It should be noted that the information disseminated is unreliable. No restrictions are currently applied. However, there is a real need for rational consumption of electricity
This, as indicated, is due to the fact that repair work at energy facilities after Russian attacks continues. At the same time, due to the cold weather throughout Ukraine, electricity consumption has increased significantly. The situation is further complicated by cloudy weather in some parts of Ukraine, which causes low efficiency of solar power plants.
Under such conditions, we ask all consumers - both household and business - to reduce the use of powerful electrical appliances and not to turn on several such devices at the same time between 8:00 and 21:00. This will reduce the load on the power system
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption remains high today - in the morning its level was 2.3% higher than at the same time the previous day. Yesterday, April 7, the daily consumption maximum was recorded in the evening - 14.3% higher than the maximum of the previous working day.
