In the semifinals, she defeated the Polish representative with a score of 15:13. In the final match, Maksymenko defeated Polish athlete Greta Gahali, ending the match with a convincing score of 15:7.
This triumph was the second victory in Anna Maksymenko's career at the Junior World Cup, confirming her status as one of the most promising young fencers.
