In the frontline, 128 combat engagements were registered over the last day. The situation was the most tense in the Pokrovsk sector. The largest concentration of enemy attacks was near Zhelanne and Novooleksandrivka. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 8:00 a.m. on July 29, UNN reports .
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using three missiles, as well as 69 air strikes, dropping 88 UAVs. In addition, it made more than 5200 attacks, 96 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted five strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons, and also hit five artillery systems, a UAV control center, an infrastructure facility and a storage facility for military equipment.

In the Kharkiv sector, the number of attacks amounted to six over the day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk sector, two combat engagements took place near Novoosynove and Synkivka.
In the Liman sector , the enemy attacked 14 times near Makiivka, Nevske, Novosergiyivka, Terny, Novosadove and Torske.
In the Northern sectorin , Ukrainian defenders repelled eight assault actions of Russian invaders near Spirne, Verkhnekamianske, Pereizne and Ivan-Daryivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked 10 times in the areas of Vasyukivka, Ivanivske, Chasovyi Yar, Klishchiyivka, Hryhorivka and Bondarne.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 17 attacks near Pivnichne, Nyzhnyk, Toretsk and Zalizne.
In the Pokrovsk sector , our defenders repelled 52 assault attacks in the areas of Tymofiivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zelene Pole, Kalynove, Ivanivka, Prohres, Zhelanne, Serhiivka, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka. With the support of aviation, the Russians tried to force our units out of their positions. The highest concentration of enemy attacks was near Zhelanne and Novooleksandrivka
In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled five attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops.
In the Vremivsk sector, Russian troops conducted five assaults near Velyka Novosilka, Kostiantynivka and Rozdolne.
In the Gulyaypol and Orikhove directions, the occupants continue to try to drive Ukrainian units from their positions. Four combat engagements took place in the areas of Huliaipol, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector , the Russian attack failed during an assault on the left bank of the Dnipro.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions .
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.
"At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire combat line," the General Staff said.
