"Do not delay decisions on air defense for Ukraine! This is our main request to our partners after Kyiv endured a night of horrors," the Foreign Minister said.

We demand a decisive international response. Not just words of condemnation, but concrete actions to stop Russian terror. Decisions on air defense systems and missiles for Ukraine are needed now, not later! Decisions to strengthen sanctions pressure on Russia are needed immediately, not later! Decisions to increase support for Ukraine, including energy assistance, are needed immediately, not later!

"War criminal Putin is capable only of waging a vile and terrorist war against civilians, women, and children. Because in confrontation with the Defense Forces of Ukraine, he cannot achieve any result. Such strikes are grave war crimes. We inform all partners and international organizations about them, calling for accountability and a decisive response," the head of the Foreign Ministry stated.

The Minister also noted that on the second day of his working visit to Japan, he will inform all interlocutors about this massive Russian strike and the need to increase pressure on the aggressor and support the Ukrainian people.

"I also want to particularly emphasize that it is immoral to justify Russian atrocities against Ukrainians by saying that Moscow is acting in response to Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russia," Sybiha noted.

The head of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry reminded the world that in this war, there is an aggressor and a country defending itself in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. "Russia has no right to carry out any strikes on Ukraine, while Ukraine has the full right to respond, defend itself against the aggressor, and strike any legitimate military targets on Russian territory. Do not equate the aggressor with the country defending itself against aggression. Do not justify atrocities that have no justification," he stated.

The Minister emphasized that this war is not only about Ukraine, it is about principles. And we need everyone in the world to remain principled in this difficult time.
