Ukraine and Finland sign agreement on security cooperation

Ukraine and Finland signed an agreement on security cooperation, according to which Finland provides long-term military, financial, and other assistance to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Finnish President Alexander Stubb have signed an agreement on security cooperation and long-term support, Zelenskyy says, UNN reports. 

Today, President of Finland Alexander Stubb and I signed an agreement on security cooperation and long-term support. This is a strong document that demonstrates Finland's readiness to continue supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression

- Zelensky wrote.

 According to him, Finland will provide long-term military and financial assistance, as well as deepen cooperation with Ukraine in the political, financial, humanitarian and reform fields.

It will help Ukraine rebuild the energy sector, assess environmental damage, strengthen border and critical infrastructure protection, and treat Ukrainian soldiers

- Zelensky said.

Ukraine had previously signed security agreements with seven countries: The United Kingdom, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, and the Netherlands.
