Serbian President Vučić reported that trade turnover with Ukraine increased to $321 million in the first half of the year. The key imported commodity is iron ore.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić announced a significant increase in trade between Serbia and Ukraine. He said this during a joint appearance with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, UNN reports.

According to Vučić, last year trade between the two countries amounted to around $450 million. At the same time, in the first half of 2026 alone, this figure had already reached $321 million.

He noted that one of the key Ukrainian goods imported by Serbia is iron ore. At the same time, Belgrade is interested in expanding cooperation in agriculture, energy and other areas.

The most important import item is iron ore from Ukraine, and I believe that cooperation in agriculture, as well as in other areas and energy, can increase trade everywhere

Vučić also called for expanding the range of goods.

It is important for us not only to import iron ore and soybeans, while we export sunflower seeds and baby food, but also to expand this cooperation as much as possible
