In Kyiv, a 28-year-old resident of the city has been notified of suspicion for threatening with a pistol and beating a driver after a road conflict. This was reported by UNN citing the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv.

The incident occurred while driving along Valeriy Lobanovskyi Avenue. A conflict arose between the drivers of a Volkswagen Transporter and an Audi A4.
The driver of the minibus decided to take revenge and began purposefully pursuing the car. When the Audi driver stopped near the Central Bus Station, the attacker ran out of his vehicle and immediately started a fight. He struck the man in the face several times, then pulled out a pistol. Threatening the victim and random passersby with the weapon, the assailant struck the driver several more times with the handle on the head and quickly fled the scene
Law enforcement officers later detained the attacker, who turned out to be a 28-year-old Kyiv resident. The man was found near his place of residence. During a search, a pneumatic pistol was seized from him.
The detainee was notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism accompanied by particular audacity, committed using an object prepared in advance for causing bodily harm. The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years of imprisonment.
