Ukraine is working to keep aviation in working order. When the security situation in the country allows, the airspace will be opened quickly enough and commercial flights will be possible. This was announced by Deputy Minister of development of communities and territories Sergey Derkach on the air of the telethon, reports UNN.
Derkach was asked to comment on whether the talk about the resumption of air traffic is speculation.
The issue of aviation is important for Ukraine, so first of all, what the state is doing now is preserving the aviation infrastructure. This issue concerns both airports and air navigation. So that we, as a country, are ready when security allows us to open our airspace
Derkach noted that an important aspect is the safety of people who work in aviation.
"it is very important to save people, because people who work in aviation are people who are certified according to international standards. They were trained for a very long period of time and then certified. If they all change their direction of work, it will be very difficult for us to recruit people later, train them quickly and certify them. It will take years. We cannot reach this state of the situation with aviation. Therefore, we are also working to maintain aviation in working order and when our security situation allows us to open the airspace quickly enough and be able to carry out commercial flights," Derkach said.

Deputy Minister of community and Territory Development Timur Tkachenko reported at the end of November that all government agencies are currently working on the possibility of partially opening the airspace of Ukraine, but due to the very high level of threats, this remains unlikely in the short term .
