SBI investigators are ready to launch an investigation into the incident with the journalist of Slidstvo.info, who was allegedly served with a summons for his investigation of an SBU official. However, this will be possible only after the SBI receives an official notification and supporting materials from the Prosecutor General's Office. This was reported by the SBI Communications Advisor Tetiana Sapian during a telethon, according to a correspondent of UNN .
Sapian noted that the SBI had seen a report from the Prosecutor General's Office that criminal proceedings had been opened over possible abuse of office and obstruction of journalists' professional activities by SBU and TCC officers.
"SBI investigators are ready to start the investigation, but this is possible only after the SBI receives an official notification and supporting materials. When this happens, investigators will immediately start working," Sapian said.
When asked whether the Prosecutor General's Office should send an official notification, Sapian replied: "Yes. At the moment, there is only a message from the Prosecutor General's Office that criminal proceedings have been opened. When we receive an official notification and supporting materials, then the investigation will begin.

Slidstvo.info reported that an SBU officer could have instructed TCC representatives to serve a summons on Slidstvo.info journalist who was working on an investigation into the head of the SBU cybersecurity department, Ilya Vityuk.
