The European Commission today allocated 4.5 billion euros to Ukraine from the 50-billion-euro Ukraine Facility, which is designed for four years, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said, UNN reports.

Von der Leyen made the statement during a press conference with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who is in Brussels.
"And I am pleased to receive Ukraine's plan to increase investment and move closer to our Union," the European Commissioner said.
