Under the procedural guidance of the Halytskyi District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Lviv, a 48-year-old resident of Lviv - the chief engineer of one of the region's construction companies - has been notified of suspicion.
According to the investigation, the man found minors on social networks. There, he gained the trust of children, manipulated them, and induced them to create prohibited materials involving them. Depending on the situation, he used different approaches: in some cases, he pretended to be a peer and later revealed his real age, in others, he immediately stated that he was significantly older.
It has been documented that during April-May 2026, the suspect recruited two minor girls aged 9 and 11.
The investigation established that he stored the obtained materials on his phone and also sent them to at least six individuals, receiving similar files in return.
At the request of the prosecutor's office, the court chose a preventive measure for the suspect - detention without the possibility of bail.
He is charged with debauchery and recruitment of minors, as well as storage and distribution of child pornography.
