US House Speaker Mike Johnson has warned Republican senators that the House will prepare its own bill to help Ukraine, but it will differ significantly from the $95 billion foreign aid package that the Senate passed last month. This was reported by The Hill, according to UNN.

Johnson was reportedly trying to calm down Republican senators who asked him about funding for Ukraine at the annual Senate Republican retreat.
The speaker told the senators that the House would send an aid package to Ukraine to the Senate, but suggested that it be turned into a loan or lending program to protect the interests of American taxpayers.
Johnson told reporters that he would "carry out the will of the House of Representatives" on the Ukraine aid package, and said he did not want to let Russian President Vladimir Putin take over the country."
"Nobody wants Vladimir Putin to win. I think he would not stop at Ukraine... he would go through Europe," he said. "There is a right and wrong, in my opinion, between good and evil, and Ukraine is the victim here.
But he said that House Republicans are "looking at all the different options right now" and warned that any House decision "may not look exactly like the Senate.
