Six regions are partially without power due to russian attacks, in Sumy and the district there are emergency outages, due to bad weather there are de-energized consumers in one region, no schedules are expected, the Ministry of Energy and Sumyoblenergo reported on Wednesday, writes UNN.

Enemy attacks

"As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions are temporarily without electricity," the Ministry of Energy reported.

As stated, energy workers are working to restore power to Ukrainian homes as quickly as possible, with restoration work ongoing around the clock.

"In Poltava region, during emergency restoration work following an attack by an enemy UAV on a service vehicle, three energy workers sustained injuries of varying severity," the Ministry of Energy's statement reads.

The injured have been taken to a hospital, where they are receiving all necessary medical care.

In Sumy and the region, an emergency outage is reported.

"We have an emergency outage in Sumy and the Sumy district. We are re-energizing consumers," Sumyoblenergo reported.

Bad weather

"Due to bad weather, 10 settlements in Khmelnytskyi region remain without electricity," the statement notes.

Repair crews are working on restoration.

Will there be schedules

"No restrictions are forecast for today," the Ministry of Energy stated.

Active energy consumption today, as noted, should be shifted to daytime hours - from 11:00 to 15:00.

According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has increased. Today, July 8, as of 09:30, it was 4.3% higher than at the same time the previous day – on Tuesday. The reason for the changes is cloudy weather in most regions of Ukraine. This causes low efficiency of household solar power plants and a corresponding increase in the volume of energy consumption from the general grid. Yesterday, July 7, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 1.6% higher than the maximum of the previous day – on Monday, July 6.
