Eight people were wounded in shelling in Kherson region over the past day. The Russian army shelled 17 settlements in the region. A critical infrastructure facility, an educational institution, administrative buildings, a catering facility, nine high-rise buildings and 11 private houses were damaged, said RMA head Prokudin, reports UNN.

Between 06:00 on August 7, 2024 and 06:00 on August 8, 2024, several settlements of the Kherson region, including Romashkove, Kizomys, Mykhailivka, Novoberislav, Chornobaivka, Stanislav, Antonivka, Kachkarivka, Velytenske, Tyahyntsi, Lvov, Oleksandrivka, Kalynivske, Blahodativka, Prydniprovske, Sadove and the city of Kherson, came under hostile fire and air strikes.

Residential neighborhoods were also destroyed: 9 high-rise buildings and 11 private houses were damaged. In addition, the occupiers damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings and private cars.
