Ukrainians have been warned about a new fraudulent scheme that fraudsters have started using on the social network Instagram. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CPD) of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

The scheme looks like this: unknown accounts leave aggressive and offensive comments under Instagram users' posts - at the same time, the description of the closed profile on behalf of which the comment was written contains a link to "additional information about yourself." It can be posted either in a Telegram channel or in another link.
After clicking on it, the user is thrown to a phishing page, and scammers get access to your personal data. This is your phone number, passwords and other confidential information.
How to prevent this
Ukrainians are urged not to follow suspicious links, even if they look like social networks or services. It is also not recommended to enter your data on third-party sites and block accounts that write similar comments.
