Two collaborators who agreed to become escorts in a russian torture chamber in occupied Kherson were detained by the Security Service of Ukraine. After the de-occupation of Kherson, the collaborators tried to hide.

Two guards of the russian torture chamber, which operated during the occupation of the city, were detained in Kherson. This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

The SBU exposed two more collaborators who worked for racists during the occupation of Kherson and hid from justice after the city was liberated

- the statement said.

The perpetrators were a local man and woman who had supported the invaders at the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion. They were appointed to the "administration" of the russian torture chamber, which operated on the basis of the then seized penal colony in the regional center. They became "inspectors of the security department" of the occupation facility, received russian-style uniforms, weapons and "certificates".

According to the investigation, the collaborators guarded the cells where the rashistis imprisoned members of the resistance movement in the region. According to the available information, in these cells, the occupiers tortured the victims and tried to "beat" them into agreeing to cooperate against Ukraine. The defendants helped the invaders control the regime of detention of Ukrainian patriots.

After the liberation of Kherson, both offenders "laid low" and hid from justice, constantly changing their addresses. But the SBU established their locations and detained them.

Now they are in custody, they are suspected of collaboration, for which they face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
