The actress posted a series of snapshots from her family life on Instagram. One of them apparently shows Louis and Laila, who, along with their aunt Gesine Bullock-Prado, are walking at sunset in casual clothes.
In another photo, the children are pictured rafting on a scenic river. Bullock covered their faces with fish emojis, as she has long tried to protect her children's privacy.

The 62-year-old actress also showed a photograph of the family beside the graves of her parents, Helga Meyer and John Wilson Bullock. In a separate shot, she shared a photo with her friend Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka.
In the caption for the series of photographs, Bullock wrote: "Friends, family, fun, fishies, fur babies and soooo much work."
Bullock does not want to sacrifice time with her children
The family photos appeared as Bullock prepares for the premiere of the film "Practical Magic 2," which is scheduled for release in September. It is her first film role in more than four years. Nicole Kidman, Stockard Channing, Dianne Wiest, Joey King and Maisie Williams also star in the sequel.
During an appearance at the CNBC Changemakers Summit in New York in April, Bullock said she deliberately chose the timing of filming so that work would not interfere with her children.
I made this film at this particular time because I knew my children were not in school. I am not going to sacrifice my children's time—my time—with my children
Bullock also emphasized that her work cannot be more important than her children's needs.
I am not doing my job to the best of my ability if my children are struggling or if they need something and I cannot do it. I am raising my children, not someone else's
The actress is raising her children following the death of her longtime partner, Bryan Randall, in 2023.
