The head of the Sumy regional military administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, said that two people, who were brother and sister, were killed in a Russian strike on the village of Mohrytsia. The girl was 6 years old. In total, the enemy dropped 56 CABMs, which was a record number for the day. He announced this during a telethon, UNN reports.

"Unfortunately, we have casualties. The village of Mohrytsia was hit by a KAB air strike, which killed 2 people, including one child. The enemy killed a brother and sister. The brother was 22 years old and his younger sister was 6 years old. They were in the yard of a school that was destroyed by an air strike," said the head of Sumy region.

According to him, this particular family refused to be evacuated from the settlement yesterday.

He says that there are 2 more wounded in other settlements of Sumy district.

"56 guided aerial bombs were used against the population of Sumy region. They hit the territory of four districts - Shostka, Konotop, Sumy and Okhtyrka. Sumy region has never experienced such a number of strikes by UAVs in a day," said Artyukh.
