Russian troops damaged energy infrastructure in Mykolaiv and Odesa regions during a night attack, causing emergency power outages in Mykolaiv region. This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo and the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"At night, Russians attacked energy infrastructure facilities again. Equipment at one of Ukrenergo's substations was damaged. The control center is forced to apply emergency blackouts in Mykolaiv region," Ukrenergo said.
According to the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces, at night the enemy attacked southern Ukraine with regular waves of attack drones, and the aggressor again targeted the energy infrastructure there.
"Unfortunately, in Mykolaiv region, the enemy hit an energy facility. A fire broke out and firefighters localized it. The work is ongoing. The consequences are being clarified. People are not injured," the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram.
It is also stated that the enemy attacked Odesa region at dawn with missiles and used ballistic missiles. "On the day of Odesa's liberation from fascist invaders, "sacred non-humans" attacked critical transport and logistics infrastructure. We already know about 2 injured employees of a transport company. An energy facility, a private house, and several cars were damaged. Miraculously, no people were injured," the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine said.
