On Sunday, about 1,500 people gathered in Berlin to demonstrate against Russian aggression in Ukraine and against the policies of Vladimir Putin's Kremlin, according to police, with at least 3,000 registered participants. The Medusa newspaper estimated that up to seven thousand people attended the rally.
The participants' demands included the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine, the impeachment of Russian President Putin and charges against him as a war criminal. The participants chanted: “no to war” and ‘down with Putin’.

Several people came to the march with Russian tricolors. This caused outrage among other participants, including Ukrainians. Initially, the Russian tricolor was at the beginning of the column of protesters, but later it was removed.
