Russian troops shelled the border area of Chernihiv region with various types of weapons yesterday, 41 explosions were recorded in four communities, the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"During the day, Russian troops attacked the border area of Chernihiv region with various types of weapons. There were 41 explosions recorded," the SBGS reported on Facebook and listed them:
- Semenivka community: 7 explosions (probably from 120-mm mortars and FPV drones) in the direction of Leonivka and Tymonovychi.
- Snovska community: 29 explosions (probably AGS) in the direction of Klyusy settlement.
- Novhorod-Siversk community: 4 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar) in the direction of Krasny Khutir village.
- Horodnyanska community: 1 explosion (arrival, probably FPV drone) in the direction of Senkivka settlement.
There is no information on deaths and injuries among the local population as a result of the shelling.
