A small group of demonstrators reportedly approached the police cordon on the street on April 9.
In addition to political tensions, the center of the capital is also becoming the epicenter of festivities. The New Year's tree, set up next to the parliament, is being guarded, and in the evening, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze plans to officially light it.
