Four Palestine supporters were arrested for climbing onto the roof of Australia's parliament building on Thursday as the country's ruling party senator resigned over the government's stance on Palestine. The demonstrators stood on the roof of the Canberra building for about an hour unfurling black placards, including one reading "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," a common refrain of Palestinian protesters. However, lawmakers condemned the security incident, Reuters notes.
