Poland: Tusk's government received a vote of confidence

Donald Tusk's opposition government has won a vote of confidence in the Sejm. The swearing-in of Tusk and his cabinet by President Duda is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

In Poland the opposition government, represented by newly elected Prime Minister Donald Tusk, received a vote of confidence in the Sejm, reports UNN.

During the voting, 248 members of the Sejm, among among which opposition parties predominate, voted in favor of the vote of confidence in the government, while 201 MPs were against and no one abstained.

According to media reports, Tusk and his cabinet will be sworn in at 9 a.m. on Wednesday by Polish President Andrzej Duda.
