Currently, there is no evidence of plans to return the Russian Navy to Crimea. This was stated by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk during a telethon, UNN reports.

Pletenchuk commented on the information disseminated by the partisan movement  ATESH in Telegram that the Russians have started using the previously abandoned reserve command post of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.

"In fact, even if this information is confirmed, it can only mean that they want to add work to Ukrainian intelligence to make it easier for us to strike at their base points in the future. Crimea is much closer to the mainland than Novorossiysk... Therefore, if this information is confirmed, it will look a bit strange," Pletenchuk said.

He noted that this does not necessarily have to be related to  any plans of the Russian Federation for a possible return to Crimea.

"This does not necessarily have to be connected with any plans for a possible return to Crimea. At the moment, there is nothing to suggest that the Russians have any hope for this," Pletenchuk said.
