German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, who arrived in Kyiv today, will announce a new military aid package for Ukraine during his visit. This was reported by the Bild newspaper with reference to its own sources, UNN reported.

According to the Federal Minister, Germany will continue to support Ukraine militarily.

In addition, one member of the delegation said, the package includes roughly the same as Germany has already provided to Ukraine so far, so it will not include long-range Taurus missiles.

During his visit to Ukraine, the German official also met with the Ukrainian military at a training center outside Kyiv, where he was shown Western sniper rifles.
The Federal Minister of Defense also watched tank exercises on a combat simulator using live ammunition.
