According to the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev, in his telegram channel, a state of emergency has been declared in the Ostrogog district in three settlements. According to him, about 200 people have been evacuated - residents of one village and one garden association. Gusev reported two victims.
The governor also said that five unmanned aerial vehicles were allegedly "destroyed" and "suppressed" in the Voronezh region overnight. the Russian Defense Ministry, in turn, claims that its air defense system "destroyed" seven UAVs overnight: 5 - over the territory of Voronezh region, and one over the territories of Belgorod and Bryansk regions. And in the morning, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, one UAV was allegedly "destroyed" over the territory of the Kursk region and one over the territory of the Belgorod region.
Meanwhile, in the Voronezh region, the detonation continued in the morning, as the governor stated. Locals continued to post videos from the scene. One of them asks: "Does a fire make such sounds?".
Ostroh is reportedly home to a training center for junior specialists of the Russian Ministry of Defense's armored personnel carrier service.
