All settlements in the Russian-controlled part of the Kherson region have been left without electricity. Power also partially went out in the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. This is reported in statements by the occupation administrations, writes UNN.
Gauleiter Volodymyr Saldo, whom the Russians appointed as "governor" of the Kherson region, reported a massive power outage in the occupied part of the region.
"All districts of the Kherson region are fully or partially blacked out. Energy workers and emergency services are already on site and are doing everything possible to restore electricity supply as soon as possible", Saldo wrote on his Telegram channel.
The collaborator did not specify what caused the massive power outage.
The head of the occupation administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, collaborator Yevgen Balytskyi, also reported a partial power outage. According to him, the reason for this was allegedly "attacks from the enemy."
"We are recording a partial power outage in the region. Damage assessment is ongoing", Balytskyi reported.
He added that the power outage allegedly did not affect the operation of critical infrastructure.
