Some donors of the US Democratic Party have decided to freeze their donations of about $90 million. In this way, they want to force Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. This was reported by The New York Timesand by UNN.

The frozen contributions were supposed to be directed to Biden's Future Forward, a "political action committee" (PAC), which is a tax-exempt organization used by politicians in the United States to finance campaigns.
The NYT claims that some of the frozen amounts are "eight figures," meaning they exceed ten million dollars.
It is noted that since the start of the election campaign, Future Forward has already allocated $250 million for television and digital advertising in favor of Biden, so the funding freeze is a significant blow to his campaign.
