On the morning of October 31, North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan. This was reported by Yonhap with reference to the South Korean military, UNN reports.
Details
According to the newspaper, the military did not provide any details. The launch took place just hours after the South Korean and U.S. defense ministers condemned North Korea's deployment of troops in Russia.
North Korea last fired several short-range ballistic missiles on September 18. Prior to that, on September 12, Pyongyang launched several short-range ballistic missiles, the first such launch in more than two months, which was later called a test of a new 600 mm multiple launch rocket system.
Recall
South Korean intelligence reported that the DPRK has completed preparations for its seventh nuclear test. It is also preparing to launch a long-range ballistic missile capable of reaching the United States.
