In the second half of 2025, no critical cyber incidents were recorded in Ukraine. This is stated in the report of the National Cyber Incident Response Team CERT-UA "Cyber Threats: Ukraine", reported by the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, according to UNN.
Details
According to the report, a decrease in the number of incidents at other criticality levels was also recorded. In particular, the number of high-level cyber incidents decreased by 17%, medium-level by 2%, and low-level by as much as 87%.
Experts note that despite a certain increase in malware distribution, the actual number of computer infections has decreased. This is explained by an increase in the level of cybersecurity, the effective work of response teams, and an increase in user awareness of basic cyber hygiene rules.
At the same time, CERT-UA emphasizes that the overall level of cyber threats remains high.
The intensity of hostile cyberattacks remains consistently high, and the situation in Ukrainian cyberspace is complex and dynamic, the report states.
