Details

According to the information, now 559 specialists have joined the program, and their number should increase from next year. Apply to support specialists for war veterans and demobilized persons can:

  • war veterans;
  • demobilized persons;
  • family members of a deceased war veteran;
  • family members of the deceased (deceased) defender and the deceased (deceased) defender of Ukraine;
  • affected participants of the revolution of dignity, their family members;
  • persons who have special services to the motherland;
  • family members of persons who went missing under special circumstances during military service (including family members of prisoners).

Specialists contact and consult after submitting the application. Thus, you can get advice on obtaining statuses, benefits, services, rehabilitation, employment, starting your own business, and so on.

We strive to create all the necessary conditions and digital tools for veterans and their families that optimize their interaction with the state and simplify the return of war veterans to civilian life. In less than two years, UNDP has helped develop six e-services on the Diya and E-veteran portals. One of them was the service for submitting applications for candidates for the positions of specialists in accompanying war veterans and demobilized persons. The digital tools that have been implemented today will complement the previous developments implemented in cooperation with the government with the support of partners. This will help digitalize the processes between a war veteran and an escort specialist, and thus facilitate and speed up their interaction

- noted Jaco Silye, permanent representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine.
