NBU sets exchange rates for June 5: Dollar and Euro rise again

The official dollar exchange rate for June 5 stands at 44.38 hryvnia, while the euro rose to 51.67 hryvnia. In banks, the American currency is trading within the range of 44.12-44.59 hryvnia.

As of Friday, June 5, the National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate at 44.38 hryvnia per dollar. The official rate on Thursday was 44.35 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro will be 51.67. This is reported by UNN with reference to NBU data. 

Details

The official dollar exchange rate is: 44.3793 UAH (+3 kopecks) per dollar. The NBU also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate at: 51.6686 UAH (+14 kopecks) per 1 euro. The official zloty exchange rate is: 12.1938 UAH (+3 kopecks) per 1 zloty.

According to data on specialized websites, as of 08:00 on Friday:

  • in banks, the dollar is trading at a rate of 44.12-44.59 UAH, the euro at 51.30-51.85 UAH, and the zloty at 11.80-12.40 UAH;
    • on the interbank market, rates are 44.34-44.37 UAH/USD and 51.60-51.62 UAH/EUR.

      Reminder

      The European Union linked the payment of aid to Ukraine with the introduction of a 20% VAT on foreign parcels. This requirement is necessary to receive funds from the EU and the IMF.
